The Captain of the guard tournament!!!!

At 1 pm will commence the Captain of the guard tournament.

Throughout the year the Captain has been holding multiple tournaments in different weapons styles to prepare the next captain. As it will be, the tournament will be fought using those weapons styles.

As you are paired off each round, you will cast a single 6 sided dice. That number will determine what weapon style you will use for that round. Your opponent will also cast a die to determine theirs. This will happen each round.

Format will be set at the start of the tournament based on the number of entrants. You do not have to be going for the captains position to fight, as there is a prize for the overall winner as well. You also do not have to be a member of the Barony, but should you win, will need to be able to fulfill the duties.

Byes will be at the discretion of the Baron and Baroness.

Those who are vying for the captains position will be required to write a haiku. That haiku will be presented at the competition after the tournament.

Good luck and may the dice fall favorably!

Don Michaelangelo
Captain
